A few years ago, I put together a Halloween costume that utilized a camera and a travel DVD player to give off the effect that there was a large hole through my stomache.
I built a harness out of duct tape and cardboard (cardboard + duct tape, BFF) and attached an old digital camera with an RCA video output that fed a constant signal to the small screen fixed to the front of the harness. For longevity, I powered the camera with four “C” batteries (regulated to 5V).
I covered the harness with a bloodied-up white sweater.

That’s really cool! How technology changes everyday things like fancy dress! I saw a tank (Or did I?)hiding on TV using this sort of principal.
It would be fun to trick the kids coming to do the door for sweets with that!
